Finally! I go to college!
've always thought I mean, not being able to study although I am certainly no less intelligent than the people who study. Today I am assuming that my ADHD was what I was twice at the high school to fail.
The prospect of even being able to make a nursing degree, seemed very far away. I had the idea to go until retirement.
In the new year I am more active in finding a part-time job and I try to add new contacts at the same time for things I (and maybe later get additional money) joy. I was now in a nursing home where I would like to make a voluntary Tell Cafe with the residents. Whose stories I want to record with a microphone in my laptop and home . Write Let's see whether it be a book or just a few stories.
On the way to the old home I passed a funeral home where a woman was offered by notice in the window of bereavement support. She wrote that she studied at the Technical University in Dortmund, "Social Gerontology". AND!! she wrote that she is my year.
So I have just made me immediately informed and in fact, this study can already do at 50. Without high school! Hey awesome! I'm going to apply the same, keep your fingers crossed that it already works for the winter semester. And most of all, I found another job by then.
What a great start in the new year to finally have a beautiful view! Here, for those interested the link .
Finally ! I go to college !
I always thought it was not okay, that I was not able to study even, though I am certainly no less intelligent than the people who study . Today I am assuming that my ADD was the reason for failing twice at the high school . The prospect of even being able to make a study for retired people, what is possible at the Dortmund Unversity, seemed very far away . I had the idea to have to wait until retirement.
In the new year I am more active in finding a part -time job and I try to add new contacts at the same time for finding more joy and maybe later get additional money with doing this. I was in a home for the elderly today, where I would like to make a so called: tell-stories-cafe with the residents. I'd like to record t heir stories with a microphone in my laptop and at home I could write it down for them. Let's see whether it becomes a book or just a few stories . On my way to this I found coincidently the information of the possibility to study without the usual qualification. To have a lived life is enough for them, when you are over 50 years old. I really plan to do this, so I hope to can tell you they say yes for the beginning in October. And I really hope to find a part-time-jobun till then. Wish me luck!
